Regulations for the Use of Fully Automatic Video Measuring Instruments

1. Purpose
To ensure the accuracy of measurement data, maintain the normal use of instruments, and improve the service life of instruments, this specification is specially formulated.

2. Usage environment:

Working principle:



The fully automatic video Measuring Instrument consists of a measuring platform, z-axis, microscope, CCD, light source, electronic control system, and computer.

The computer is equipped with an image acquisition card, which receives image data obtained by a microscope and CCD; The light source ensures that the computer obtains high-quality image data under different workpieces and measurement requirements; The computer sends commands to the electronic control system through a USB interface to move the measurement platform and z-axis, causing the area to be measured to move to the visible area of the microscope; The precision measurement software installed on the computer uses image processing technology to process the obtained data and complete the measurement of the workpiece.



4. Operation method of image measuring instrument:
4.1 Check if the power cord, image data cable, and control card data cable are connected properly;
4.2 Turn on the computer power and start Windows 7;
4.3 Remove all workpieces and other items from the working platform of the image measuring instrument (to prevent collisions during self inspection);
4.4 Turn on the power of the image measuring instrument, and the equipment will start self checking;
4.5 After the self-test of the measuring instrument is completed, start the Vispec software;
4.6 Image correction: Place the correction block on the scanning platform, adjust the focus, and start shooting. The lighting during calibration should be moderate. If the lighting is too strong, the measurement data will become larger, and if the lighting is too weak, the measurement data will become smaller.
4.7 Place the workpiece to be tested on the measurement platform;
4.8 Move the work platform to make the workpiece image within the visible range, adjust the light source, z-axis position, and lens magnification to make the image clear and the size appropriate;
4.9 Select different primitive tools for measurement based on the actual shape of the workpiece;
4.10 After completing all elemental measurement work, output the data to the size measurement report through sPC.

5. Precautions:
5.1 The operator of this instrument must have certain computer operation experience and measurement skills;
5.2 After each use, the light source should be turned off first and then turned off;
5.3 When adjusting the focal length using the z-axis, the speed and step size should be slow and not too fast to prevent collision between the lens and the product, which may damage the equipment;
5.4 When the instrument moves, it must be recalibrated using a calibration block;
5.5 The measuring platform should be kept clean at all times, and should not be touched by hand as much as possible. If there is dirt, please wipe it clean with a dust-free cloth and alcohol.
